Until the day breaks and the shadows flee, I will go to the
mountain of myrrh and to the hill of incense. ...
Song of Solomon 4:6 (The Bible)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
There were two attractive trees in the garden of Eden.
The original couple decided to pick the appealing fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ; thus not listening to God's warning. Because of that, their gloomy fate became ours. There was another tree which was the tree of life. A tree of which fruits give eternal life and communion with God. That's the one Adam & Eve should have eaten. But it's never to late to pick one of its fruits now and whoever wants one, God has already given it to them through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ.
