Abstract oil paintings on canvas, paper or metal

top The First Amendment was Stopped at Zuccotti Park

the painting is in two sections, total size is 274.3 cm wide x 91.4 cm high
For those who do not live in the United States, you may not know that Zuccotti Park was where the Occupy Wall Street Protestors were camping out. The park is close to Wall Street.
They were evicted from the site by the Mayor of New York using the New York Police Department in an unnecessarily rough and forceful manner around 2 AM November 15, 2011.
The First Amendment of the US Constitution, part of what we call the "Bill of Rights", "prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances."
I would say that the right to peaceably assemble and the right to petition for a governmental redress of grievances was grossly violated.
