Biography

The work that I have been constructing since 2006, either by stencil, digital photography or, more recently, scanning objects is, and always has been, motivated by the power of the "anonymous human being". It is extremely difficult to remain indifferent to the faces of despair that, on the one hand, are afraid to emerge from anonymity but, on the other, live a profound disgust for being invisible. Giving them a recognition by 'revealing' the different layers that they(we) are made
up of is my main goal. That process of "revealing" the truth, of "
dismantling" the charade, the setting, led me to the objects that, by excellence, accompany the anonymous being and help them assume an identity. Digitalisation turns out to be an analogy to the X-Rays we use when looking for a disease, giving an experimental aesthetics combined with a neorealist pop view of a process of continuous demand, which is possibily related to my sociology training.
